It all started with a scale…

When it came to decorating, my husband will say he taught me everything I know…and while I’m sure we can all assume that’s not true. I will however give him and Joanna Gaines credit for introducing me to my love of antiques. Who knew?

I absolutely love combining both new and vintage items into my décor, and now thanks to Joanna Gaines and Fixer Upper so many of us have been inspired to do the same. It all started when I saw an episode where she hung a vintage scale in a kitchen…that was it, I was hooked. I needed that scale. I found one just like it and made her mine! The same scale I get asked about all the time on my Insta page.

It also snowballed my obsession with antiques and vintage finds. I just love finding an antique piece and trying to guess where its from and what kind of stories it could tell and being able to give it new life. That’s also why I started my shop. To be able to bring you some of the same vintage inspired pieces that can be found in my own home, and if you are looking for something in particular let me know…because the hunt is half the fun!
