I absolutely love changing my décor along with the seasons. I get very bored with things easily, and love to find fun new ways to switch things up. We live in New England and my kids love to play outside in the winter, so how fun to transform my coffee station into a hot cocoa bar for them. So here is a list of some must have hot cocoa bar necessities.
A cute sign– First things first…a cute hot cocoa bar sign is a must. Signs in general are a must but in this case, how else would everyone in the house know where to find the hot cocoa?! I mean come on. I got this perfectly adorable sign from Grace Inspired Wood. I’ve even added a direct link for shopping in the collage below.
Some Rae Dunn– No coffee or hot cocoa bar would be complete without some cute Rae Dunn mugs and canisters, I also linked some of those below for those of you having trouble finding some in stores. I love how perfectly this hugs canister goes along with the hot cocoa theme, it’s like little cups of warm hugs. Amiright?!
A new Keurig– Don’t have a Keurig, well what are you waiting for?! You won’t regret it, I use ours at least half a dozen times a day! Even if you already have one maybe it’s time to upgrade your big ugly black machine, you have to check out the new Keurig 2.0 I got mine in Pearl and love how it flows in our white kitchen. No more big ugly eye sore. I’ve linked that below too.
A few winter touches– Time to add some fun winter details. I love wood, white, and greenery for winter. These burlap wrapped Christmas trees are perfect for leaving out all winter long! I wanted a rustic feel so I added a wood charger. Another thing I like to do is add fun season themed stirrers or colored paper straws from the Target dollar spot. For Christmas I had tree topped stirrers, and they have some cute Valentine themed ones out now.
Topping things off– Who could forget the toppings! Sprinkles, mini marshmellows, and whipped cream are all must haves. I always have a stash of whipped cream in the back of our fridge. I know we are talking about cocoa here, but have you tried it on your coffee. Do yourself a favor and try it…you can thank me later. I always stock up on crushed peppermint too, and I found some cute gingerbread sprinkles from Homegoods.
Ready to put together a cocoa bar of your own? Have fun with it, and check out some of the items I’ve linked below, you can click to shop (how easy is that?) Now who wants a hot cup of cocoa?
